This Privacy Policy explains how Planet Earth Satellite, Inc., doing business as Planet Earth Satellite (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use internet.pesdish.com (the “Site”).
The short version. We collect the service address and contact details you give us so a Planet Earth Satellite specialist can check which internet options may be available at that address and call or text you about them. We do not sell your information, and we do not hand your contact details to other marketing companies. We do use advertising and analytics tools that share limited information with the ad platforms described below, which some state laws treat as “sharing” for targeted advertising — you can opt out of that at any time.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Service location: street address, apartment or unit, city, state, ZIP code, and whether the location is a home or a business.
- Service needs: the type of service you’re interested in, when you need it, and optionally how you expect to use the connection.
- Contact details: first name, last name, phone number, and email address if you choose to provide one.
- Consent record: whether you checked the consent box, the exact wording shown to you at that moment, the version of that wording, the date and time, and the IP address and browser user-agent used to submit the form. We keep this because it is the record that you gave us permission to contact you.
Information collected automatically
- Advertising and attribution identifiers carried in the link you arrived on — for example
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content,utm_term, and click identifiers such asgclid(Google),fbclid(Meta),ttclid(TikTok), and the attribution identifier used by OpenAI’s advertising system. - Page and referral data: the first page you landed on, the site that referred you, and the version of the page you saw.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device type, collected in ordinary server logs.
What we do not collect
The Site does not ask for and does not want your Social Security number, driver’s license or other government ID number, bank account or payment card details, credit history, health information, or any information about your race, ethnicity, religion, political opinions, or sexual orientation. Please do not send us any of these.
2. How we use information
- To check which internet options from participating providers may be available at the service address you gave us.
- To contact you by telephone call and text message about internet service options, as described in the consent you gave when you submitted the form.
- To help you set up service with a provider you choose.
- To keep a record that you consented to be contacted, and to honour opt-out requests.
- To measure which advertising campaigns produce genuine inquiries, and to detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of the form.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
3. Who receives your information
Planet Earth Satellite specialists
Your inquiry is handled by Planet Earth Satellite, Inc. d/b/a Planet Earth Satellite. Only Planet Earth Satellite will call or text you as a result of submitting the form on this Site. We do not sell your contact details, and we do not pass them to other marketing companies or lead buyers.
Participating providers
If you ask us to check availability or to help you order service, we may share the information necessary to do that — typically the service address, and your name and contact details if you decide to proceed — with the participating provider or providers involved. This is to fulfill the request you made, not to market you to them. Once you become that provider’s customer, their own privacy policy governs the information they hold about you.
Service providers who work on our behalf
- Hosting: Railway, which hosts this Site and processes ordinary server logs.
- Customer relationship management: GoHighLevel, where your inquiry and consent record are stored and where our calls and texts are managed.
- Advertising and measurement platforms: Meta Platforms, TikTok, OpenAI, and Google, as described in the next section.
These companies are permitted to use the information only to provide their service to us, except that the advertising platforms also use it for their own advertising measurement and optimisation purposes.
Legal and business transfers
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property or that of others. If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies, pixels, and tracking
This Site uses browser storage and advertising pixels to understand which ads produce inquiries. Specifically, we may use:
- The Meta Pixel — records a page view and a lead event, and shares limited information with Meta Platforms.
- The TikTok Pixel — records a content view and a form submission, and shares limited information with TikTok.
- The OpenAI Measurement Pixel — records a page view and a lead event for ads shown in ChatGPT.
- Google Ads conversion tracking — records a conversion when a form is submitted.
- Session storage in your browser — remembers the campaign you arrived from so it can be attached to your inquiry. This stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.
We do not use these tools to build a profile of you across unrelated websites for our own purposes, and we do not run third-party advertising on this Site. Sharing information with an advertising platform for cross-context behavioral advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “share” of personal information under some state privacy laws — see section 7.
5. Calls and text messages
When you check the consent box and submit the form, you authorize Planet Earth Satellite, Inc. d/b/a Planet Earth Satellite to contact you at the phone number you provided, including by telephone call and text message, about internet service options.
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further texts. Reply HELP for help.
- You may ask us to stop calling at any time by telling the specialist, by emailing info@pesdish.com, or by calling (833) 820-1883.
- When you opt out, we suppress your number across our campaigns, not just the one that prompted your request.
We do not currently use automated telephone dialling systems, prerecorded messages, or artificial voice to call you. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and obtain the additional consent that the law requires before doing so.
6. How long we keep information
- Enquiries that don’t become customers: up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, then deleted or anonymised.
- Consent records and opt-out records: at least 5 years, because we may need to demonstrate that we had permission to contact you, or that we honoured your opt-out.
- Server logs: typically 30 days.
We may keep information longer where a law, dispute, or investigation requires it.
7. Your choices and rights
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, using advertising pixels may qualify as a “sale” or “share” for targeted advertising under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. You can opt out in either of these ways:
- Turn on the Global Privacy Control signal in a browser or extension that supports it. We treat that signal as a valid opt-out request for the browser that sends it.
- Email info@pesdish.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share”.
Access, correction, and deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email info@pesdish.com or call (833) 820-1883.
We will need to verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by confirming details you already gave us. We aim to respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need more time. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Advertising platform controls
You can also manage ad personalisation directly with each platform through your Meta, TikTok, Google, and OpenAI account settings.
8. How we protect information
The Site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Form submissions are validated and rate-limited on our server. Access to inquiry data in our CRM is limited to staff who need it to do their job. Credentials for our CRM and advertising platforms are stored as server environment variables and are never included in the code that runs in your browser.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults arranging service for a home or business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, give notice on the Site. The version in force when you submitted your information governs that submission.
